What are CafeProducts.com's shipping policies?
CafeProducts.com typically can ship most of its products via standard ground, to anywhere in the US, except for Alaska and Hawaii (which requires special shipment arrangement). The customer is responsible for shipping fees assigned to their purchase*, which is figured by an average, fair market shipping rate based upon the item weight. These rates are calculated by the most common shipment and freight carriers’ rates and may increase or decrease at any time, depending upon the industry standard. Insurance for your item has either been calculated into the shipping cost or will be purchased by Cafe Products on your behalf and for your protection, in the appropriate amount of the purchase. 

Please be aware, that residential deliveries can incur an additional charge, above and beyond any shipping rate offered on Cafe Products. *Shipping rates are calculated based on the delivery of goods to commercial addresses within the 48 contiguous United States. Residential deliveries may require additional fees as per assigned by the shipping or carrier company. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii, Canada and Mexico, and any delivery addresses outside of the United States require special rate quoting; the shipping rates found on CafeProducts.com will not apply. Please contact your Account Manager or Customer Support Representative for further information.

LIMITATIONS OF SHIPMENT INSURANCE LIABILITIES Upon delivery, the customer MUST open and inspect all items before the shipping/delivery company departs the customer premises or the package is signed for. If damage is discovered, as a result of shipment, the customer either rejects the shipment or contacts customer service immediately. For your convenience, our Customer Support can be reached at (430) 901-5511. If shipping damage is discovered, the customer must contact Cafe Products Customer Support before the package is signed for, otherwise, the customer will be held responsible for the damage. Freight Policy (Applies to shipments above 149 lbs. or in excess of normal ground shipping dimensions) Many of our products require freight transit. 

Most of our freight items have freight charges calculated on our site; however, some of our products, specifically furniture, may require the customer to contact their Account Manager or Customer Service in order to obtain a shipping quote. We make every effort to use a reliable and fair-priced freight line, with each of our manufacturers. Please be aware, that residential deliveries and delivery locations without a dock will incur an additional charge, above and beyond any shipping rate offered on Cafe Products. Generally, in the case where delivery locations lack docking facilities, our freight carriers will simply unload goods and leave them on the doorstep. 

No freight deliveries will be delivered or moved inside your location, by the delivering company, unless special arrangements have been made at the time of goods purchase. Additional charges will apply for inside delivery of goods. In the case where delivery has already been made and the customer requires inside delivery, the customer may contact Cafe Products for assistance in hiring local moving assistance. 

Additional fees will apply for this service and the customer is independently responsible for all charges related to hired moving assistance, whether Cafe Products hires on the customer's behalf, or the customer hires services independently. Due to the nature of freight shipping, should you have any questions or concerns related to your purchase, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

DELIVERY INSTALLATION Unless other arrangements are made in writing, at the time of purchase, with a Cafe Products representative, all installation of purchased goods remains the responsibility of the customer. 

Should the customer themselves not wish to install their purchased product, Cafe Products is generally able to locate a professional installer for the customer region or location. Additional fees apply for this service and the customer is independently responsible for any charges related to third-party installations. All installations done by third-party installers are warranted by said third party; Cafe Products is not responsible for the quality or assurance of any third-party installation.
